Sydney  Shepperd, parent educator and specialized kinesiologist, has been teaching and working with families since 1987. In 1991, she began teaching her unique 6 week Parenting on Purpose course in a local pediatrician’s office. Sydney has also instructed community based classes for Pleasanton and Livermore Unified School Districts, addressing specific topics of interest for parents, children and seniors.  She is a frequent public speaker, including twice presenting at the International Network for Children and Families National Parenting Conference, as well as for various corporations such as Clorox and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Sydney is also a practitioner of Brain Reflex Integration, having studied extensively with Svetlana Masgutova.  As such, she has a lively practice working with children who have developmental, academic, emotional or behavioral concerns.

In addition, Sydney is a Brain Gym instructor, a master practitioner of NLP (neurolinguistics), and a skilled facilitator of meridian tapping/emotional acupressure, and Touch for Health.  She has a private practice providing educational resources and life skills coaching to parents, children and families, as well as individuals. She brings a wealth of experience to her work of helping clients resolve longstanding issues and concerns, and establish new patterns of learning and relating.

Sydney has been married for 40 years, and is the mother of 2 grown children.  She loves what she does and it shows!
